Light Cable

For the next installment of “look what I just bought” I’ll introduce you to my new Dexim Visible Green charger. It’s kind of a stupid purchase, but it’s still cool. I don’t know why it took so long for someone to invent this type of cable. How could you not want to buy it? Now it looks like you can see the power literally being transferred to the phone in real time. Plus, it’s only a few bucks more expensive than a regular old Apple brand charging cable.

Yes, the lights do change speed based on how charged the battery is, and then powers off when the battery reaches 100%. That, right there, is already cool. And it’s also a double-sided cable, so no corners were cut there. Overall, it’s just a nice, though frivolous, accessory. This one claims to be the green version, but the lights are a little bluer than I thought they would be. It’s not a deal breaker, since it’s still fun to watch. Everyone should buy one! Hours and hours of endless fun (until the battery is fully charged, of course).
